Thank you for you interest in our log home company.  Windy Hill Log Homes is a small family run business located in Hesperia, Michigan.  We manufacture log homes in the chinked and fully-scribed fashion at our worksite.  The logs are first peeled then allowed to dry, then re-knifed, and finally scribed and fit together with painstaking care.  We are committed to doing top quality work. 

Most of the homes we do are custom built to the owners unique specifications.  However, we do have a few popular floor plans that we are sending you with this brochure.  We feel we have the best prices in this area on handcrafted rustic log homes.  If you're ready to build or just interested in looking, give us a call and we will set aside a special time, just for you. 

Our basic log kits include 4 log walls, log gable ends, purlin roof logs, loft logs, porch purlins, settling screws, and vertical post for the porch.  Log butt sizes for our standard kits range from 10" to 14".  Larger size logs (un to 24" butts) are available at an additional cost.  Log stairways and railings are optional. 

  We have additional shipping and re-erecting fees. Check with us for current prices.  We provide a full line of log home care products.  We have a chinking service or will teach you how to chink your own home thereby saving you money.  We will cut out one door opening and install the casing during reconstruction as an example.  If you would like us to cut other door and window openings there is an additional fee.   All  of our kits are drilled during reconstruction for ease of electrical wire installation.  All of our kits are drilled and pinned with steel rod to maintain proper alignment.
